Last updated: April 2026. Simple rule: we don't charge until photo 11.
Xarazo uses a payment hold model. Your card is authorised when you register an event, but never charged until your event reaches 11 photos.
Your card is held but not charged. Delete your event at any time and the hold is released instantly — your money was never touched.
When your event reaches 11 photos, we capture the payment. You'll receive an e-receipt by email. From this point the fee is non-cancellable.
When you register an event on Xarazo, Stripe places an authorisation hold on your card — the same mechanism banks use for hotel check-ins or petrol stations. No money moves. The hold simply reserves the amount.
If your event reaches 11 photos, we finalise the payment. If you delete your event before that — for any reason — the hold is released and your card is never charged.
We don't charge your card when you register. Your payment is only finalised once your event reaches 11 photos. Cancel anytime before then — your money was never touched.
Payment holds expire after 7 days. If your event hasn't reached 11 photos within 7 days of registration, the hold expires automatically (no charge) and your event is paused. You can re-register to place a new hold.
If you believe you're entitled to a payment reversal outside the normal policy (e.g., due to a technical failure on our part), contact us and we'll review your case. We aim to be fair.
All payments are processed by Stripe. Xarazo does not store your card details. For payment-specific issues, you can also contact your card issuer.
